S.A.F.E. requires 20 hours of education. If you need 20 hours then you can take our standard course. Day One will cover Federal laws and regulations. Day 2 will begin with the state appropriate information as an insert and then into Ethics and non-traditional lending. We will end Day 2 with a mock test and information on use of the NMLS system. Please note, Power Training is not affiliated with NMLS and are not considered NMLS consultants. For questions for use of their system, we must direct you to NMLS.

For those who have hours already on deposit with TDSML you may only need 5 hours, however, unless you are confident that you can pass the Federal test you will need Day 1 to complete that material and if you were licensed before Texas began testing then you will need to take the Texas test as well so you will need to take all 20 hours.

You will need to bring a calculator to class with basic, add, subtract, multiply and divide keys.

Class will offer breaks approximately every 1 ½ hours for 10 minutes where you will be able to return emails and phone calls. A continental breakfast will be provided along with coffee and juices. Lunch will be approximately from 12:30 – 1:30pm each day and you will be on your own for lunch.
